What is a refurbished sweeper? Our definition of refurbished is to restore or make new again, renovate to as new again. It even goes beyond that. Example of our definition of refurbished: We recently had a customer to look at a truck before we finished it. He was 100% completely satisfied with the way the hopper looked. However, we insisted on taking the sweeper back into our shop and taking the screens out and recoating the hopper above the screens. This is an area that the customer could not see without taking the screens out, however our shop foreman could see it and wanted it to be right before he signed off on it. [Refurbished does not mean completely restored with all new parts even if new parts are not needed.] Refurbished means if the wear part of the sweeper has 50% of it’s life left then go ahead and replace it. Refurbished is not cheap, it is expensive and costly and labor intensive work.
